senseFly grows distribution network with allnav appointment
senseFly has appointed surveying equipment supplier allnav to distribute its professional imaging drones across Switzerland and Germany.
Headquartered in Othmarsingen, Switzerland, allnav (www.allnav.com) is a true competence centre in the fields of surveying, construction, data SIT / GIS and 3D laser scanning. The company employs more than 100 employees and is also the official dealer for Trimble in Switzerland, Liechtenstein and the Baden-Württemberg region of Germany.
Through the company’s new agreement with senseFly, allnav ag will distribute the company’s full portfolio of professional drones—used in more than 100 countries around the world—into surveying, GIS and construction sectors across Switzerland, while allnav gmbh will handle the same for the German market from its base in Backnang.
“We are delighted to continue growing our network of expert distribution partners by welcoming allnav into the senseFly family,” said Jean-Christophe Zufferey, the CEO of senseFly. “Allnav’s experienced team will play an important role in helping more and more Swiss and German professionals reap the benefits that drones can bring, enabling these customers to capture the exact high-resolution, georeferenced data they need to make better decisions.”
According to Ivo Pfammatter, the managing director of allnav, the Swiss market for professional unmanned aircraft systems is strongly on the rise. At this year’s GeoSummit event in June, Pfammatter says many surveying and engineering companies reported they were considering investing in drone technology. “By bringing senseFly systems onboard we can effectively round out our product offer,” he says, “providing customers with systems that are perfectly optimised for different applications, such as the eBee RTK for customers who require survey-grade or the albris quadcopter whose different onboard sensors simplify the inspection of structures and boost safety.”
As for the German market, Pfammatter claims the country represents a tremendous drone opportunity. “Until now this market has been seriously underserved, so we are very excited to introduce German geospatial professionals to senseFly’s intelligent, durable solutions.”
allnav (www.allnav.ch) has been a member of MEB Group, and Trimble’s official sales partner for surveying, GIS data acquisition and 3D laser scanning in Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Baden-Württemberg (Germany), for 20 years. The company’s experienced team of professionals offers expert advice, support and service alongside a range of support services such as rental, financing and insurance.
